Data collection and Privacy policy

In order to participate in iSARAH training, you will be required to fill your personal information including your name, age, gender, profession, and your work/education setting & experience during iSARAH registration and agree to complete a short online survey immediately after completing your iSARAH training and 6 months later. At both time points, the survey will take 3-5 minutes to complete. We would be very grateful for your time in completing these surveys as the results will help us improve future health services. If have you agreed to be contacted by the SARAH team regarding service evaluation, we will get in touch with you after completing the training.

All information provided by you will be kept strictly confidential. The data will be stored in a protected database system managed by the University of Oxford which will be accessed by the study researchers only. The study will comply with the Data Protection Act and any personal details held by the study team will be stored separately from any participant study data. Personal details will be destroyed on completion of the evaluation. There are no risks in taking part in iSARAH impact evaluation. The data will be summarised and used in conference abstracts, meetings, research reports, and peer-reviewed journal articles. No identifiable personal information will be reported anywhere.

The University of Oxford Central University Research Ethics Committee (CUREC) reviewed the evaluation protocol and concluded that a formal ethics approval was not required.

This is a training website provided by Oxford Clinical Trial Research Unit (OCTRU). Website content is managed and maintained by the SARAH team and not by OCTRU. OCTRU will endeavour to ensure the SARAH team keep content accurate and up-to-date, and that content is either owned by the SARAH team, or that they have the appropriate permission to use it. However, ultimately the responsibility for all content lies with the SARAH team.
